Today Lucban, Quezon is celebrating the annual Pahiyas Festival. This is a celebration in honor of St. Isidore, the patron saint of farmers. The festival showcases houses decorated with colorful “kiping” and farm produce such as fruits, plants, rice and vegetables. This is their way of thanksgiving for the bountiful harvests.
This festival is listed by the Department of Tourism as one of the most colorful tourist attractions in the Philippines.
